Description

Indications

D-Rise is vital for addressing Vitamin D3 deficiencies, especially in those with limited sunlight exposure or poor dietary intake. Essential for healthy bone and tooth development, it helps prevent rickets, osteomalacia, and osteoporosis. D-Rise also supports pregnant and breastfeeding women, aids in the prevention of pre-eclampsia, and boosts overall immunity.

Pharmacology

D-Rise contains Calcitriol, the active form of Vitamin D3. It binds to Vitamin D receptors (VDRs) throughout the body, crucial for increasing calcium absorption. As a fat-soluble vitamin with a half-life of approximately 50 days, it is absorbed in the small intestine, metabolized in the liver, and further processed in the kidneys. Excess Vitamin D3 is stored in fat and muscle, with elimination occurring through feces and urine.
