Indications

ACI ORS is used to prevent dehydration and effectively manage diarrhea. It is suitable for treating all types of dehydration.

Use as directed by a registered healthcare professional.

Composition

Each sachet contains:

• Sodium Chloride: 0.44 gm
• Potassium Chloride: 0.38 gm
• Sodium Bicarbonate: 0.42 gm
• Dextrose Anhydrous: 4.09 gm
• Sucrose: 8.07 gm
• Fructose: 0.07 gm
• Flavors: Qs

Dosage & Administration

To replace the fluid lost from the body, administer an equivalent quantity of the prepared saline solution after each episode of diarrhea:

• Children under 2 years: 50-100 mL (10-20 teaspoonfuls) of prepared solution.
• Children 2-10 years: 100-200 mL (20-40 teaspoonfuls) of prepared solution.
• Children over 10 years and adults: 200-400 mL (1-2 glasses) of prepared solution.

Precautions & Warnings

• Do not mix ORS with hot water, and do not heat the prepared solution.
• Any unused solution should be discarded after 12 hours from preparation.
