Indications
This supplement is designed for the treatment and prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies caused by factors such as restrictive diets, inadequate food intake, alcoholism, or reduced nutrient absorption. It is also recommended for individuals with increased nutritional requirements due to acute or chronic illnesses, pregnancy, breastfeeding, menopause, infections, or antibiotic therapy. Additionally, during the preconception period (three months before conception through the first trimester of pregnancy), this supplement helps reduce the risk of severe birth defects.

Pharmacology

Contraindications
This product is contraindicated for individuals allergic to any of its ingredients. It is not suitable for treating severe vitamin or mineral deficiencies or for patients taking levodopa, as pyridoxine may reduce levodopa’s effectiveness. Excessive intake of Vitamin A (more than 10 tablets daily) during the first trimester of pregnancy may cause birth defects.
Side Effects
Side effects are rare when taken as recommended. High doses of certain vitamins and minerals may cause adverse effects. For example, iron may occasionally lead to gastrointestinal discomfort.
Pregnancy & Lactation
During the first trimester of pregnancy, do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Consuming excessive Vitamin A (multiple tablets daily) can increase the risk of birth defects.
Precautions & Warnings
This product is not intended for treating pernicious anemia or other forms of megaloblastic anemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency.
