Pharmacology
Flucloxacillin, an isoxazolyl penicillin, inhibits bacterial cell wall formation, particularly against penicillinase-producing staphylococci. Acts as a bactericidal antibiotic by interfering with peptidoglycan synthesis, leading to bacterial cell wall weakening and rupture.
