Indications

This cream provides fast relief of minor aches and pains associated with joint pain, back pain, arthritic pain, neck & shoulder pain, sprains, and strains.

Pharmacology

This specially formulated cream contains Methyl salicylate and Menthol, penetrating deep to provide long-lasting relief from minor arthritis and muscle aches. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and dilates blood vessels for an analgesic effect.

Dosage & Administration

Apply a thin layer to the affected area, massaging gently until absorbed, up to 3 to 4 times daily for adults and children aged 2 years and above.

Interaction

Methyl Salicylate may increase Warfarin action; caution advised.

Contraindications

Avoid use in individuals allergic to salicylate or any components; application to broken skin is contraindicated.

Side Effects

Possible side effects include redness, irritation, mild to moderate local reactions; discontinue use if excessive irritation occurs.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Use only if clearly needed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Precautions & Warnings

For external use only; avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, or broken skin. Keep away from children; do not ingest; seek medical help if swallowed. Discontinue if redness persists for more than 10 days or in children under 12 with arthritis-like conditions.

Overdose Effects

Excessive topical application may lead to absorption through the skin and potential salicylism symptoms.
