Description
Derived from the herbaceous plant Kalomegh, Livolite is native to India and Sri Lanka. Traditionally used in Southern Asia for its medicinal properties, Livolite aids in treating various infections and ailments, predating the advent of antibiotics.
Pharmacology
The active compounds in Andrographis, the main ingredient in Livolite, demonstrate antiviral properties, inhibiting viral glycoproteins and bolstering immune responses. Additionally, its flavonoids exhibit anti-inflammatory effects, reducing the expression of inflammatory proteins.
Dosage & Administration
For adults (18 and above): Take 1 capsule three times daily after meals for 5 to 10 days. Adjust dosage for adolescents and children as per physician’s guidance.
Interaction
Livolite may have synergistic effects with isoniazid.

Avoid Livolite if allergic to plants from the acanthaceae family.

High oral doses may lead to gastric discomfort, vomiting, or loss of appetite, attributed to the bitter taste of andrographolide.
