Indications
Glysup suppository is designed to alleviate occasional constipation effectively.
Pharmacology
Glycerin, the active ingredient in Glysup, acts as a hyperosmotic laxative. When administered rectally, it typically induces a bowel movement within 15 minutes to 1 hour. It works by drawing water into the bowel, softening the stool mass and stimulating bowel action, providing prompt and reliable relief from occasional constipation.
