Indications
Dexotix effectively alleviates symptoms associated with the common cold, including dry cough, chest congestion, and more.

Pharmacology
Dexotix combines two active ingredients: Guaifenesin and Dextromethorphan HBr. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that works by inhibiting the cough center in the brain, providing relief from persistent coughing. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that thins the mucus, enhancing the flow of fluids in the bronchial passages and easing the expectoration of mucus.
Dosage & Administration
- Adults & Children (12 years and older): Take 1 or 2 tablets every 12 hours, with a maximum of 4 tablets per day.
Important Instructions:
- Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
- Take with a full glass of water.
- The medication can be taken at any time, regardless of meals.

Contraindications
Dexotix is contraindicated for individuals who are allergic to Dextromethorphan or Guaifenesin. It should also be avoided by patients currently taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or those who have taken MAOIs within the last 2 weeks.
