Indications:
Cran-B is used for:
- Treatment and Prevention of Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
- Management of Kidney Stones
Always use as per the advice of a registered healthcare professional.
Pharmacology:
Cran-B contains Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), a plant native to North America, well-known for its effectiveness in managing urinary tract infections (UTIs) and kidney stones. Cranberry helps reduce the frequency of UTIs, decreasing the reliance on antibiotics for recurrent infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial adhesion to the urinary tract’s mucosal surfaces, which is a key step in the development of UTIs and other bacterial infections. At higher doses, cranberry also acts as a urinary antiseptic and helps prevent the formation of kidney stones.
Recent studies have demonstrated that cranberry consumption can reduce UTI occurrences by up to 65%, leading to fewer antibiotic treatments and a decrease in recurrent cystitis episodes.
