Indications
This cream effectively treats a range of conditions including mixed and complicated fungal, protozoal, and bacterial infections, mild to moderate vaginitis, candidiasis, trichomoniasis, pruritus vulvae, dermatitis, eczema, and genito-urinary infections.
Composition
Each gram of the cream contains a potent combination of active ingredients: Clobetasol Propionate USP 0.50 mg, Ofloxacin USP 7.50 mg, Ornidazole INN 20 mg, and Terbinafine Hydrochloride BP 10 mg.
Pharmacology
This cream offers a multifaceted approach with its antibacterial, antifungal, antiprotozoal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Ofloxacin acts against a wide spectrum of bacteria, while Ornidazole targets amoeba and trichomonas infections. Terbinafine inhibits fungal cell membrane biosynthesis, leading to fungal cell death. Clobetasol provides potent anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictive effects.
