Pharmacology
Leflox (Levofloxacin) Eye Drops is a sterile topical ophthalmic solution that serves as a potent third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. This broad-spectrum, bactericidal medication targets both Gram-positive and Gram-negative ocular pathogens. Levofloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial enzymes, topoisomerase IV, and DNA gyrase, which are essential for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination in bacteria.
