- Amylase: 7800 units
- Protease: 455 units
- Lipase: 6500 units
Pharmacology
Zymet Pro is formulated with Pancreatin, an extract from mammalian pancreas enriched with essential enzymes such as Amylase, Protease, and Lipase. Designed to dissolve in the alkaline environment of the duodenum, it releases these active enzymes to aid digestion. Amylase breaks down dietary starches into maltose and other carbohydrates, Protease cleaves protein molecules into amino acids and peptides, and Lipase transforms dietary fats into fatty acids and monoglycerides. It efficiently converts starch and casein into soluble carbohydrates and proteoses, respectively, within 5 minutes, achieving significant digestion within 30 minutes.
Dosage & Administration
Take 2-3 tablets with a small amount of water, immediately before or during meals, or as directed by your healthcare provider.

To prevent premature release of the medication, avoid using Zymet Pro concurrently with antacids, as they may disrupt the enteric coating.
