Indications
Zolfin is prescribed to alleviate pain and reduce inflammation associated with various conditions including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, toothaches, trauma, and lumbago.
Pharmacology
Zolfin contains Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) known for its potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Aceclofenac works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX), an enzyme critical in the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are compounds involved in inflammation and pain. Following oral administration, Aceclofenac is rapidly and thoroughly absorbed in its active form.
