Pharmacology
Valovir contains Valacyclovir, an antiviral agent that effectively inhibits the replication of herpes viruses, including herpes zoster, HSV, and CMV. Valacyclovir is a prodrug of Acyclovir, which slows down the growth and spread of the virus, reducing the symptoms and duration of the infection.
By inhibiting viral DNA replication, Valovir helps manage both the symptoms and the spread of infections, providing relief and reducing recovery time.
