Indications
Seclo is indicated for various conditions including gastric and duodenal ulcer, NSAID-associated duodenal and gastric ulcer, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, acid-related dyspepsia, severe ulcerating reflux esophagitis, and prophylaxis of acid aspiration during general anesthesia.
Pharmacology
Omeprazole, the active ingredient, inhibits gastric acid secretion by blocking the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cell, showing onset within one hour and lasting up to 72 hours.
Dosage
