Pharmacology:
This eye drop is a clear, colorless, sterile aqueous solution designed to lubricate and protect the eyes. Upon application, it quickly spreads across the cornea and conjunctiva, creating a protective film. Polyethylene Glycol 400 enhances the stability of the tear film, while hypromellose’s muco-adhesive properties help the tear film adhere to the ocular surface. Glycerin helps to restore moisture to dry eyes. The solution’s electrolytes, similar to natural tears, maintain a healthy corneal surface.
