Indications
Nutrivit-B is recommended for the nutritional supplementation of essential B-vitamins, either as a preventive or therapeutic measure, during times of physiological stress. It is particularly beneficial in conditions that cause depletion, reduced absorption, or impaired bioavailability of these vital nutrients. Such conditions can lead to symptoms such as glossitis, stomatitis, cheilosis, and beriberi.

Composition
Each Tablet/Capsule contains:
- Thiamine HCl (Vitamin B1): 5 mg
- Riboflavin (Vitamin B2): 2 mg
- Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3): 20 mg
- Pyridoxine HCl (Vitamin B6): 2 mg
Each 5 ml Syrup contains:
- Thiamine HCl (Vitamin B1): 5 mg
- Riboflavin 5-Phosphate Sodium (Vitamin B2): 2 mg
- Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3): 20 mg
- Pyridoxine HCl (Vitamin B6): 2 mg
Each 2 ml Ampoule contains:
- Thiamine HCl (Vitamin B1): 50 mg
- Riboflavin Sodium Phosphate (Vitamin B2): 5.48 mg
- Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3): 100 mg
- D-Panthenol (Vitamin B5): 5 mg
- Pyridoxine HCl (Vitamin B6): 10 mg
Pharmacology
Nutrivit-B is a balanced Vitamin B complex that includes essential B-vitamins in their pure form. These vitamins are crucial for various enzymatic processes that regulate the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Each component plays a unique role in maintaining the body’s energy production and overall health. B-vitamin deficiencies can result in conditions such as glossitis, stomatitis, cheilosis, polyneuritis, beriberi, pellagra, and vascularization of the cornea.
Dosage & Administration
- Tablets/Capsules: The typical recommended dose is 1-2 tablets/capsules, taken three times a day or as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Syrup: Take 2-3 teaspoonfuls daily or as prescribed by your doctor.
- Injection: For intramuscular or intravenous use, the usual dose is 2 ml per day or as directed by your physician. This injectable form also contains D-Panthenol (5 mg) in addition to Thiamine, Riboflavin, Nicotinamide, and Pyridoxine.

Drug Interactions
Even a small dose (5 mg) of Pyridoxine may interfere with the effectiveness of levodopa in treating Parkinson’s disease. Therefore, Nutrivit-B is not recommended for patients receiving this treatment.
Contraindications
This product should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any of the ingredients contained in Nutrivit-B.
Side Effects
While Nutrivit-B is generally well-tolerated, allergic reactions or side effects may occur, especially in individuals sensitive to specific vitamins or minerals. In rare cases, gastrointestinal discomfort may be experienced, particularly with iron supplements.
