Description
Mastguard is a specialized medication designed to alleviate allergy symptoms. It functions by targeting mast cells, inhibiting their release of substances that trigger allergic reactions.
Pharmacology
Sodium Cromoglicate prevents the degranulation of sensitized mast cells following exposure to specific allergens. It works by blocking the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators from mast cells. Importantly, Sodium Cromoglicate does not exhibit vasoconstrictor or antihistaminic properties.
