Indications

Linita serves as a treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus, enhancing glycaemic control in adults. It’s recommended:

Pharmacology

Linagliptin, the active component of Linita, improves glycemic control in type 2 diabetes patients by inhibiting DPP-4 (dipeptidyl peptidase-4). By inhibiting DPP-4, Linagliptin increases the levels of GLP-1 and GIP, incretin hormones that stimulate insulin release from pancreatic beta cells and reduce glucagon secretion from pancreatic alpha cells in a glucose-dependent manner.
