Avoid co-administration with solutions containing multivalent cations. Careful monitoring is recommended when combining with drugs that may prolong QTc interval.
Contraindications
Moxifloxacin is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin or other quinolone antibacterials.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Iventi treatment may include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and more. Less common side effects include neutropenia, palpitations, and tachycardia.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use of Moxifloxacin during pregnancy or lactation should be carefully considered, weighing potential risks to the fetus or nursing infant against the benefits to the mother.

Fluoroquinolones, like Iventi, pose risks of tendinitis and tendon rupture, particularly in older patients and those taking corticosteroids. Special caution is advised for patients with myasthenia gravis and in the case of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea.
Use in Special Populations
Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients and adolescents under 18 years of age have not been established. Geriatric patients are at an increased risk of severe tendon disorders.
