Emoli serves as an antimicrobial emollient lotion meticulously crafted to manage dry and pruritic skin conditions, particularly eczema and dermatitis. It offers direct application benefits and can be used as a substitute for soap.
Composition
Each gram of Emoli lotion features a precise blend of ingredients including Liquid Paraffin BP (25 mg), Benzalkonium Chloride USP (1 mg), Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride BP (1 mg), and Isopropyl Myristate BP (25 mg). Meanwhile, Emoli cream contains Liquid Paraffin BP (100 mg), Benzalkonium Chloride USP (1 mg), Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride BP (1 mg), and Isopropyl Myristate BP (100 mg) per gram.
Pharmacology
Emoli contains two active ingredients – Benzalkonium Chloride and Chlorhexidine Dihydrochloride, known for their antimicrobial properties. They combat bacteria on the skin surface and prevent infections caused by scratching. Additionally, Liquid Paraffin and Isopropyl Myristate act as emollients, softening and moisturizing the skin while protecting its natural barrier.
Dosage and Administration
For application, massage Emoli lotion into affected areas until fully absorbed. It can also be used as a soap substitute during bathing or showering. Apply Emoli regularly for optimal results. Emoli is available in a convenient 500ml bottle with a pump dispenser for easy use across all age groups.
Interaction
