Indications

Administer the injection as instructed by your healthcare provider. Fully press the push-button to deliver the medication, and keep it pressed throughout the injection process. After the medication has been completely dispensed, wait for 6 seconds before slowly withdrawing the pen needle. You may either keep the push-button pressed or release it during the 6-second wait.
Always follow the guidance of a registered physician when using this medication.

Its pen-like design features a push, twist, and lock cartridge holder, enabling users to inject insulin effortlessly. The device makes it simple to read and adjust dosages, as well as change cartridges quickly. It accommodates injections ranging from 1 to 60 units of insulin, using a 3 mL cartridge. If the dosage exceeds the required amount, you can easily adjust it without wasting insulin.

Pen Needle:

Dosage & Administration

Preparing the Pen and Changing Cartridges:

  1. Remove the pen cap.
  2. Detach the cartridge sleeve by twisting it.
  3. If necessary, remove the empty cartridge.
  4. Insert the new cartridge into the cartridge sleeve.
  5. Fully push back the threaded rod.
  6. Reattach the cartridge sleeve to the housing by twisting it into place.

Attaching the Pen Needle:

  1. Peel off the foil packaging.
  2. Screw the pen needle onto the cartridge sleeve, ensuring a secure fit.
  3. Remove the outer protective cap from the needle. Save this cap for safe disposal of the pen needle post-use.
  4. Remove and discard the inner protective cap.

Priming / Function Check:

  1. Set the test dose by rotating the dosage knob clockwise (no less than 2 units).
  2. To check the function, hold the pen upright and gently tap the cartridge sleeve to allow air bubbles to rise.
  3. Press the push-button; a few drops of insulin should appear at the needle tip.

After each injection, always remove the pen needle: Carefully place the outer needle protective cap back on the needle. Unscrew the pen needle and dispose of it properly, following your healthcare provider’s recommendations.

Storage Conditions

Store and handle your needles and cartridges according to the provided instructions. After each use, replace the pen cap. Keep your pen in its pouch without an attached needle. Maintain the pen at room temperature, ideally below or equal to 30°C. Handle the pen with care to protect it from moisture, dust, and damage. Clean the pen with a damp cloth; avoid using alcohol, solvents, or cleaning agents. Never immerse the pen in water, as this may cause damage.
