Pharmacology
This specialized formulation combines Iron Polymaltose Complex, Folic Acid, Zinc, and B-vitamins. Iron Polymaltose Complex is a water-soluble, macromolecular complex that ensures optimal iron absorption without interactions with food or other medications. This facilitates faster utilization of iron in hemoglobin synthesis. Folic acid helps prevent neural tube defects, while Zinc is vital for metabolic processes, blood formation, wound healing, and immune function. Thiamine supports the nervous and digestive systems, and Riboflavin plays a crucial role in digestion and energy production. Pyridoxine is essential for brain development and red blood cell production, while Nicotinamide aids in energy metabolism and circulation.

Precautions & Warnings
Use with caution in individuals at risk of iron overload, such as those with hemochromatosis, hemolytic anemia, or red cell aplasia. Iron may impair absorption when taken with tetracycline.
Overdose Effects
Accidental iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six. Higher doses should be avoided in individuals with liver disease or hemochromatosis. Symptoms of overdose may include bloody diarrhea, vomiting, acidosis, dark stools, and abdominal pain. While riboflavin is considered safe, excessive nicotinamide can lead to gastrointestinal upset. Chronic intake of high doses of Pyridoxine (over 200 mg) may result in sensory neuropathy. Zinc toxicity can occur with excessive intake, leading to low copper levels and impaired immune function. Recommended daily allowances of Zinc are safe and well-tolerated.
