How to Use Your Inhaler Device

1. Open the Device: Hold the base of the inhaler with one hand and pull back the mouthpiece until the arrows align.
2. Insert the Capsule: Take a medication capsule from the blister strip and carefully place it into the capsule chamber, ensuring the transparent end faces forward.
3. Close the Mouthpiece: Firmly press the mouthpiece until you hear a click, signaling that the device is securely locked.
4. Position the Mouthpiece: Place the mouthpiece between your teeth and seal your lips around it.
5. Inhale Deeply: Keep your head upright and breathe in deeply through your mouth. If done correctly, you’ll feel the capsule vibrating inside the device.
6. Hold Your Breath: After removing the device from your mouth, hold your breath for up to 10 seconds, or as long as comfortable, before resuming normal breathing. If necessary, repeat step 6 to ensure all medication has been inhaled, which can be observed in the chamber.
7. Dispose of the Capsule: After use, open the mouthpiece to discard the used capsule. Close it securely and store the inhaler in the provided pouch until your next use.
8. Clean the Device: Periodically clean the device by wiping the mouthpiece and capsule chamber with a dry cloth. Avoid exhaling into the device to maintain its functionality.

For your next dose, insert a new DPI capsule and follow the same steps.
