Product Description

Mevin serves as a musculotropic antispasmodic agent, relieving stomach and intestinal cramps effectively. Its primary application lies in managing irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and related conditions. By easing muscle tension, it aids in restoring normal gut movement.

Dosage & Usage

Recommended dosage for adults, seniors, and children above 10 years:

• Mebeverine Hydrochloride 135 mg tablet: Take 1 tablet thrice daily.
• Mebeverine Hydrochloride 200 mg capsule: Take 1 capsule twice daily. For optimal results, consume 20 minutes before meals. Adjust dosage gradually after achieving desired effects. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. However, if it’s close to the next scheduled dose, skip it. Avoid doubling doses.

Contraindications

Avoid Mevin if hypersensitive to the drug or its components.

Adverse Reactions

While generally well-tolerated, Mevin may cause occasional side effects such as skin rash, urticaria, or angioedema.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

No teratogenic effects observed in animal studies. Use during pregnancy should follow standard precautions. Mebeverine doesn’t pass into breast milk post-therapeutic doses.

Exercise caution in cases of porphyria or known allergic reactions to Mebeverine or related medications.

Overdosage Effects
